The first 2 weeks of Zack's life are documented fairly well. The last 6 weeks aren't. I lost my camera the second week of April and the only pics we have of him since then are on our camera phones. (thank goodness for modern technology!) But still... going without my camera was like a fish going without water. It hurt so bad, I couldn't even talk about it. I searched under couch cushions, in cupboards and drawers (the ones within Aiden's reach anyway) and everywhere I could think of. About a week or more ago, I humbled myself and even prayed to find the darn thing!
Today I learned a couple of lessons. The first lesson is that when I pray for something, and then have a thought regarding that something, I should pay attention to the thought!!! The second lesson is that I should roll around on the ground with my kids more often!!!
I found my camera in the one place that I kept thinking it might be - under the china hutch. I looked there once, but I didn't get down on the floor and REALLY look I guess cause today when I was laying on the ground talking to Zack, I looked over and there it was. 6 WEEKS!!!
I am filled with mixed emotions about this! I'm TICKED at myself for not finding it sooner, especially after the prayer followed by thoughts of looking under the china hutch. But I am also elated because ITS BACK!!!
We are going to Rocky Point, Mexico next week and we CAN'T WAIT. And now that I have my camera I will be able to document the trip and share it with all of you!
Normally, I would feel silly blogging (especially at this length) about my camera, like it is a member of the family or something... but I know that there are MANY of you out there who would feel the same way if you were with out your electronic appendage.

You are correct. I would probably curl up and die...okay so not that bad, but you can bet that I would be VERY unpleasant to be around for a while! Glad that you found it!
I'm glad you found your camera! I remember you were always taking pictures when we went on adventures in college. Have fun in Mexico, lucky! It's been only in the 50's here in good old Utah. Get some sun for me:)
