What a blessing it was to have a ward party only 3 weeks after moving into our new home. You can only meet so many people at church, so it was good to have lots of time to mingle and get to know some more names. The party was a potluck dinner and basically a giant water fight (the water part WAS planned). Aiden made some new friends, Jeremy got members of the bishopric wet (apparently to ensure a speaking assignment in the near future) and I got to visit with the mom's of the girls Aiden was flirting with. Our old ward was almost ALL boys and this ward seems to be swarming with girls! What have we gotten ourselves into? Aiden is a little too much like Jeremy for my liking in that department. I mean this all totally lightheartedly... but it is funny to watch him! At one point we caught him sitting on the sidewalk just hangin' out with a cute litte 4 YEAR OLD girl.
At the end of the party, a fire truck showed up (not familiar enough with the ward to know the connection there) and all the kids got to 'tour' the inside of the cab. I don't know why this was the only part I grabbed my camera for, but at least I got pics of something.

Are we that easily replaced?! Just kidding, it sounds like things are going well. We'd love to come and see the new joint when you're up for company - Julie and fam.
By the way, I think G really misses A because he always points out random houses and says, "There's Aiden's house!"

I'm sorry, I just got your comment on the mosaic. Here are the directions.
Open up three tabs. One for my blog, a 2nd for fd mosaic (that's also through my blog-go down to Jan's mosaic, under our camping trip post) and then for flickr.com (i couldn't get this Url to connect through my blog so just go to the websit) What your going to do is answer the questions from my blog with pictures from flickr. Ex. your favorite drink? Go to "flickr search" and type in sprite, or whatever your favorite drink is, and choose a picture. Click on the picture to make it bigger, then go to the URL and copy it, THEN go to the mosaic tab, open it up, and paste your URL in the appropriate space. Do this for each question. NOW, you can choose any mosaic pattern they have, I chose the 4x4 pattern. If you choose another pattern you may have to create an extra question to fill in blanks OR drop a question because the mosaic I did had 13 questions. A few of the patterns to choose from only have 8-12 spaces.
THEN when all of your URLS are in the spaces, click "create". After your mosaic comes up, then click on "save", and save it to your hard drive, then import it into blogger as a normal picture. Just copy and paste the questions from my blog into yours and delete my answers, and put in yours.
IF, your mosaic comes up with a blank-this picture is copyrighted, so you'll have to "edite mosaic" and find another picture for that spot.

That's good that you got to know some of your ward. We are still trying to make friends in our ward. Your boys are so cute! I can't believe how big they are getting.
